I liked the books, but I am not so keen on the movies, I really disliked their choices for casting Bella and Edward, in fact I despised Bella; turned me off watching them, much better in my imagination. I love Buffy too! I don't think either of the guys are attractive, just doesn't do it for me.

I love Jacob! Even before the movies and Taylor Lautner took off his shirt, I was a fan of Jacob. He just seems so much more real and comfortable. And Edward is just too controlling and moody.

Jacob is yummy and I agree that Edward is too skinny. As for the movies, I'd much rather watch Vampire Diaries the TV series. It's soooo good. I'm addicted.

i just think of the sparkly vampires have evolved thats all, i must admit i still love the really blood sucking vampires but these ones give it an a small edge. i fancy jacob more but rob is more my type, a guy like jaocb wouldnt look my way! lol i'd be invisible to him lol

I enjoyed the first movie, i had never of twilight before i watched it, it was light and entertaining I will most likely watch the other's but there is no rush, im more of an underworld fan

i havn't read the books but i will admit i do like the movies. i don't stand in line for hours to go see them, i wait till there out on video, but i can't help myself. edward is gorgeous, and jacob, well that boy is FINE. loved him before he cut his hair more though.

I admit I read the books - just to see what the hype was - and I really didn't enjoy them (hated the movie). I like a good vampire story but I like my vampires to be the bloodsuckers.

Side note - my cousin (2nd cousin really) had a baby girl 2 days ago and she named her Renesmee (sp?) - guess she's a bigger Twilight fan than I am.

I have to admit that I like Jacob. My friend took me to go see the midnight showing of the second movie, with a screening of the first movie directly before it. It's not a bad story-line, but I have a problem with the two lead actors. I can't stand how much she (Kristen Stewart) CONSTANTLY blinks her eyes like she's got a huge eye-boogie in there. And Robert Pattinson (sp?) just looks like he's constipated or is "prarie dogging" and there's no bathroom within 100 miles (and no car to take him to it). The one other thing that I didn't like about it was some of the things they did with the camera angles. When she's crying in her room, and the camera turns around and around and around for almost 5 minutes... I got sick at the beginning and my friend had to tell me when they went to the next scene.



Other than that, it's pretty good. I especially liked when Jacob tore his shirt off!

I haven't tried the books but I only made it about half way through the fim before I gave up. I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer so much that I'm not a great fan of other vampire stuff. I gave up with true blood aswell. Hated the first few serieses of Angel, only like the last few.

I'll be honest. I hate twilight. I thought it was a horrible read and couldn't make it through it. I dislike sparkly vampires. I tried to watch the first film, hated it as much as I hated the book. Although Taylor Lautner is incredibly hot, and the other guy needs to eat something (I used to date REALLY skinny guys, until I realized I HATE men who are skinnier than me-gives me a complex lol) but being a vampire would be far better than being a mutt. I'd probably still choose werewolf over vampire. Vampires always seem so pretentious. ;)
