What is your most vivid; scary, sexy, funny, or weird dream that you can remember??

I have a lot of dreams where my teeth fall out. They either just fall out or I can't help pushing my top teeth with my bottom teeth and they get forced out. I HATE those dreams. I also have a lot of dreams where I can either fly, hover or bounce really high. Those dreams I like. I used to have a lot of dreams when I was young where I couldn't run properly and of course, was being chased. And in one memorable dream, I died. I've heard that you can't die in your dreams but I did. Everything went black and white and I became one of the ghosts chasing everyone.

Dream #2 I dreamed that I would have a daughter, but it was a weird dream. I was running away from something. I had a black SUV and stalled in the middle of a forest. I had to get out and run. I ran through the woods and came to a motel. The first thing I saw was a fenced in pool. I ran to it and a little girl appeared on the other side. She motioned for me to climb under the fence..even helped make the opening wider. I thanked her for her help and asked her who she was. She looked at me funny and said, "Don't you know? I'm your daughter. My name is Anna."



From that point on...Anna showed up in a series of dreams. With each dream, she got younger and younger still. In the last dream, she was a newborn, I had just given birth and she was in my arms. We locked eyes and that was the end of the dream. It was also the last time I ever saw Anna.



When I got pregnant...I prayed I'd see Anna again. I was hoping. However, the ultrasound showed that I was carrying a boy. I keep on thinking...Anna never said she was my first. I am hoping that when I give birth a second time, my little boy and I will get to meet the little girl in my dreams: his sister Anna.



*I have to add--my husband hates the name Anna, but i feel that if we have a girl, i have to name her that. It's because she TOLD me. She said that was her name.

I've had 2 that stand out in my memory. I'll make 2 posts because dream #2 is a series.

Dream #1: A beautiful little girl about 5 years old with blond, wavy hair (down to her waist!) was playing in her yard before school. She was bouncing a red ball when it went into the street. A motorcycle came flying around the corner and ran her over. She died. A few years later I told my mom and her friend about the strange dream. My mom's friend stopped cold...her face turned white like a ghost!! As it turned out...her little girl passed away when she was 5. She'd been bouncing a red ball and was chasing after it when the motorcycle ran her over.

My mom yelled at me and said how insensitive I was...and I insisted to my mom that I NEVER heard that story before. They were not really close friends and I'd only met her less than a handful of times before. I know in my heart I never heard her talk about her daughter before and I KNOW i never saw a picture. Yet, the 2 girls...the one in my dream and the real life child are eerily similar in looks.

Wow! I'm not alone with the tornado dreams! Mine always involve me seeing the tornado far off and trying to get everyone to safety and packing...and I'm always losing my family and then the tornado is sort of sneaking around the building we're in, like it's intelligent or something.



I have weird dreams all the time. I've been an alligator in the water eating people, I remember a dream I had when I was four and I was in a cave that was crumbling, there was a fireplace and in place of the fire there were Star Wars light sabers, lol.



I have a lot of dreams that I am having a precipitous unassisted birth...and the baby is always a boy. I only have girls.



A lot of my dreams involve monster alien robots chasing me...or else I'm in a building where other people are chasing me and I have to go from room to room hiding from them.



I also have a lot of volcano dreams...same nature as the tornado ones- trying to pack to leave and I keep losing my family and forgetting things, everyone is moving slowly and not being organized.



One time I had a dream that we were taking a car trip and when I looked at my family and friends (we were in a van) they had all turned into zombies and their faces were all chewed up and falling off.



That's so funny Shannen! When I have flying dreams the obstructions around me always stop me. I can't go around trees or power lines either.

When I was younger I had a dream that I was bungee jumping. I was sleeping on the top bunk of a bunk bed and I woke up by smashing my back into the lower bunk. I had jumped off my bed in my sleep.

i had a scary dream that kind of turned funny when i was pregnant with my second.... i had a dream that i went into labor during the night (i was only 18 weeks) and he slid out, my husband started panicking and called his older brother, my BIL told him to just put the baby back up in there.... my husband told him there was no umbilical cord, he said that's ok, after 12 weeks the placenta is wireless, no cord....
i woke up in both a panick and laughter.... so odd

That's crazy Loureen!! I would never imagine that other people would have such a similar dream that they would give it a name. You're right though, the name doesn't fit. At least, I don't consider myself an old hag... lol

I don't know what i was dreaming about but i think i may have been pregnant both times. All i remember is sitting up in bed screaming trying to get as far away from the door as possible. Both times it has been when hubby has been coming to bed.
Other than that i used to dream as child about flying but the power lines would always stop me from going anywhere. There used to also be a certain corner i would dream of in my old town and whenever i stepped onto the raod to cross i would just start to fall.

Holy Crap LaCi! I have tornado nightmares all the time. I also used to have the reoccurring dreams of really long teeth or my teeth falling out. Those ones are truly creepy.

When I was young, my brother and I had bunk beds. I slept on the bottom bunk, him on the top. I had a recurring dream that I was friends with a t-rex (this was around the same time that I started watching "The Land Before Time")



He was the size of a regular t-rex so I couldn't keep him inside so he went and did his hunting thing at night and would be waiting for me outside when I woke up in the morning...



So in the dream, we were walking down main street in my tiny lil non-village that we lived in (it was literally 1 block of houses around a baseball field) and we were walking down towards the lake when the the t-rex's foot steps, cracked the road in half, exposing liquid hot lava flowing underneath the road.



I ran away from it and as I was running away i looked back and I saw my BFF t-rex falling into the crack and being swallowed up by the lava.



I was devastated when I woke up... every night I hated going to sleep cause I kept dreaming about my t-rex :(



I've even had that same dream a few times as an adult too.

I have weird, vivid dreams all the time.

I used to have this recurring dream that involved a plastic unicorn that was possessed and had to be destroyed to kill the evil, but the damn thing always ended up in unharmed in the end.

Also used to have a dream when I was a kid, there would be a tornado nearby and I would be trying to get to the cellar, and everytime I walked down the stairs I ended up right back where I started, it was like MC Escher had designed my house.


A few nights ago I had a dream about camping, in the end someone was behind me about to kill me, and I woke myself up screaming and trying to get away.

I love my dreams, they're mostly nightmares and it's like my own personal movie theater or haunted house.

I've experienced sleep paralysis twice and it is HORRIFYING!!

I have had some seriously creepy, disturbing dreams but there is one that stands out. I also love to try to interpret dreams to find out if there is meaning.

I was back in the old house that I grew up in and I was young again. (when I was little I would swear that my room was haunted). I kept telling my parents that I thought something was in the room. Me and my Dad were standing in the front yard of the house on a nice sunny warm day and I looked at my bedroom window and my Grandmother was standing there with a little girl with long blond hair and my Grandmother was holding a tin can full of cookies. I kept trying to get my dad's attention so that he could see that my Grandmother was the one haunting my room.

The funny thing is, the little girl looked just like either me or my niece Destiny (we look alot alike). My grandmother was still alive at the time but died soon after and I watched her take her last breath.

I don't know why that dream stuck with me but it messed me up all day the next day.

I've had a similar dream.

It was in my old house when I was still a single mum.

I'd woken up in my bed (in the dream) and heard footsteps coming up the stairs. I was frozen to my bed and couldn't speak. The door opened to my room and there was a dark figure, like a shadow, no features just blackness. It said "not her" turned and went towards my son's room. Tried to scream in the dream and woke myself up with actual screaming!

Cassie I have that very dream just as you described it regularly , I did quiet a bit of research on it because it happens to all of the women in my family , it has a ( not very nice name ) old hag syndrome .

It happens to me and your right , it feels evil .

Mine would be a scary dream. It was a very simple dream that could only be described to me as evil.

Background would be that Corey and I were staying at my parents' house. There was no spare room so I was sleeping on the couch and Corey on the floor next to me.

In my dream, it was exactly as it was in real life. I was asleep on my parents' couch, Corey on the floor. There was just this blackness in the corner of the room. It wasn't a person, it was just this dark shadow. It slowly started moving towards us. I tried to scream and get up in my dream but no sound would come from my voice and I was pinned down on the couch. The darkness just kept creeping towards us. Finally, Corey woke me in real life because I was screaming.

While it was a simple dream, it is the most vivid, horrifying, evil dream I've ever had in my life.

A few nights ago, I had one of those dreams that seem like they're real, and it's hard to tell what's real and what's in the dream... Anyway, I woke up and I couldn't find Saydi anywhere. All her stuff was still here, in exactly the way it's set up in the room, with her bassinet next to our bed, empty. I asked Ryan where Saydi was, and he said "Saydi Who?" Then I ran out into the street and got hit by a car. That's when I woke up.... I swear I was at her bassinet faster than I could open my eyes, it was the single most frightening thing I've felt so far.

Last night, somebody attempted to rob my neighbors' house. They got into the garage, but the car alarm went off and scared them away. Since we're all really close, I knew immediately.

So...now that you have the backstory, here's the dream.

I had a dream that a serial killer was chasing me. So, I took my son to my mom's to keep him safe. And I went home alone (yep, really dumb move). Of course, the guy was at my house. I came with him, and turned off the house alarm (dumb move number two). Then he tied me up and was stabbing me. My SO came in and ended up saving me from him.

Happy ending, but still incredibly creepy. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep.



Unfortunately...I never remember my good dreams! But my bad dreams stick with me forever.

Scary .


When I was really little I dreamed my whole family went on a picnic and we all drove back to my nanna's ( where I was really sleeping ) and we all went to sleep , I dreamed that I had woken up ( At the time I thought I really had ) and could hear two men walking down the drive way one had a wooden leg because I could her it going "bonk , bonk" every time he stepped on the concrete , I heard them break into the house so I quickly got up and hid in the bathroom with my nanna's large vase in hand , one of them walked in but it was so dark I could't see them just an outline and the shape of a bug gun , I smashed the vase over his head and he stopped and ran off .

I then walked out quietly into the dark lounge where the family was sleeping and everyone I loved was butchered , blood everywhere , I remember seeing them all dead and bloodied so I ran down to my nanna and grandfathers room to see if they were ok they had both been shot and cut up but my Grandfather was barely alive just squeezed out in his last breath " get em Loureen " and then died , I was so furious and sad I was shaking and crying I grabbed a big bowl full of starfish and chased the men up the driveway throwing them at them , then I woke up screaming and crying in the very room I dreamed about , I was terrified because I could still hear the noise of the wooden leg going "bonk , bonk " it was a frog outside my bedroom door , I hid until morning crying and trying not to breath too loud just in case it was real .

When I was taking Champix to quit smoking I had some INSANELY vivid dreams. One that I remember VERY clearly...

Devon and Gabriel were on the beach and I was sitting up on a towel further up on the beach. I told Devon to not take Gabriel onto the dock, but he did anyways. I told him not to let go of Gabe's hand. So he was holding Gabe's hand and Gabe slipped and fell in the water. Devon dived in after him... and I went bolting up on the dock, I kept screaming Devon and Gabriel's names, over and over... I couldn't dive into the water. I don't know why, but I couldn't... and all I could see was Devon holding Gabe's hand and them both screaming at me under the water... while they kept going lower and lower until I couldn't see them anymore...

I woke up, screaming and I instinctively rolled over and went to punch Devon right in the face when I caught myself and realized it was just a nightmare... Devon woke up from me screaming and I was SO mad at him......... I couldn't even talk. I just burst into tears and shook uncontrollably. When I finally calmed down and told him the dream he looked at me like I was fucking nuts and thanked me for not punching him in the face LOL

i had a bunch of screwy dreams right after i had my first child. one of them was very horrible to me. i dreamt i was walking him in his carseat down the road, and someone came and took him away from me. i kept running, and running, and running, after this man and he just kept on going further, and further away with my baby! i finally got superhuman running skills or something and caught up to him, and he threw the carseat down and took off. i got to the carseat and in a panic picked it up to grab my son, and it was empty. i woke up straight away, screaming. i immediately got up and checked on my son. the panick, and terror i felt was sooooo real and vivid. it was truly the most horrifying, vivid, terrible dream i've ever had.
