Hi all. I seem to be addicted to buying books ( there are worse addictions though).
I buy books from the supermarket, charity shops and also get them given by a friend!

What types of books do you like to read?.................what are you reading at the moment and is it any good?

I am reading 'Envy' by Coleen Nolan at the moment!

I loved my milk-filled boobs. The first time in my life I filled up and was almost popping out of a bra! My husband didn't mind either. ;)

Haha! I'm also interested to know what your answer was going to be Jocelyn!!
Sara, a Kindle seems like a good idea!! If only it were free! I think it will be cheaper for my mum to send me my Harry Potters. Plus I do love the feeling of holding a physical book rather than a computer screen. Turning pages... sigh... so therapeutic!

I'm on a non-fiction kick. I'm currently reading Blink by Malcolm Gladwell and Idiots Guide to Quantum Physics. Great for the beach lol!

My hubby and I are book junkies, too. We're getting ready for a move and when we packed up the books there were 6 boxes full that belonged to my son and 5 boxes that belong to hubby and I.

Anyway, I enjoy reading fantasy. But lately I've been trying to broaden my horizons. I just finished one by Jodi Piccoult, I think it was 19 Minutes, and now I'm reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Some of my favorite authors are: L.M Montgomery, Robert Jordan, Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman (when they collaborate, I don't like them as individual authors), Garth Nix (most of his stuff is young adult but I like his style) and Neil Gaiman.

What's a Kindle Sara??
And I agree that Twilight was good until the middle of Eclipse. Then it was WAY downhill from there!

Right now I'm reading Pride and Prejudice. I joined a Jane Austen book club recently and I'm actually in charge of the discussion for P and P. Kind of nervous! I hope the Internet has some good discussion questions...lol! We read Sense and Sensibility last month. We're reading the books in the order she wrote them.

Gillian, I like Sophia Kinsella too. I picked up the shopaholic books that my library has. I didn't read the whole series because we are on a spending diet right now so I can't buy them and the library didn't have the rest. One day I'll finish!

Harry Potter is fabulous! Lisa, maybe you could get a Kindle or something so you can read Harry Potter without all the weight! Twilight was good until the middle of the third book. I like The Chronicles of Narnia too.

My kid likes Goodnight Moon and We're Going on a Bear Hunt. Her number one favorite is this Hawaiian to English picture dictionary for kids my sister picked up for her on her vacation last year. Kind of a funny favorite!

I just finished reading 'Nineteen Minutes' by Jodi Piccoult and am thinking of buying 'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hassan next.
I also love Harry Potter and am pretty bummed that I had to leave them all in Aus when I moved to HK! They are just so darn heavy!! I also LOVE an Aussie author Isobelle Carmody. She's kind of a young adult writer, but her writing is so beautiful and mystical!
Darn it... now I have a massive craving to read Harry Potter right from the beginning again... might ask mum to send them over!

I still haven't really got back into reading after my fourth child was born - i just don't have the brain capsity still to consetrate or when I'm in bed I just want to sleep.
I have always been an avid reader though so am hoping I will get back to it eventually.
I love all different types of books from romace to horror and everything inbetween.
I love Stephen King, Patricia Cronwell, Robert Jordon and Sophia Kinsella. Plus all the Harry Potter books and the golden compass series. One of my other favourite authors is Christopher Brookmyer - he's a scottish crime/comedy author and his books are just genius - I thoroughly recomend him if you haven't tried him already.
