Just curious. And what do you like or dislike about it? Have you always lived in the same place?

I live in Broussard, Louisiana but I'm from Australia. I have lived in the U.S for 11 years and what I don't like about it is I have no family here.

I love the heat and gumbo, can't stand the mozzies or fast food. I have no social life as the husband is overseas working on rigs so making friends is impossible!

I currently live in Rhode Island. We are originally from NJ. I love my home state but couldnt stay there anymore...i love rhode island because its so different and eclectic and crowded and sparse and random....I live in the heart of providence so theres always action going on around me....You can drive 20-25 minutes and be in the boondocks. Its really amazing this little state... =-)

Hi. I was born and raised in Lake Charles, La but moved to Lafayette, La. I enjoy the creole food and also enjoy the cajun music (zydeco and trailriding). I dislike the humidity as sara mentioned and hurricane season which is what we are in the middle of now. The season that is...My fiance' and I love the cajun feeling and we do not plan on moving unless his job relocate but Louisiana is our home!!

Born in South Africa not far from Cape Town, spent my early life living just out side Durban, then moved to England (midlands) where i went to school moved back to SA after school bounced around for a while moved to Scotland for a while then back to England and then back to SA .
Im currently living in Port Elizabeth in SA.
I love South Africa as the people are amazing and its stunning. The only thing i really hate is the crime and the poverty as seeing that is a daily heart break

California/USA. I love the weather, hate the traffic. That is about all you can say about California. :/

Born in CA, but been in Hawaii for 26 years. It's home. Haven't always lived in the same house, but all my different houses have been w/in 20 minutes of each other. Of course, you can drive from one end of the island to the other in just a few hours....

I was born and raised in Vancouver Canada. I spent 4 years living across the water in Victoria and then moved back. I do love it here, it's beautiful, vibrant and interesting city. I love the diversity, the openness, the multiculturalism. It is very expensive though. I could imagine moving though. I am open to it, almost every place has its great aspects. Unlikely though as my husbands job is very specialized and there are not a lot of places we could go. We would both like to try somewhere else for a while when we retire.

I am also in Australia...but down the bottom in Tasmania :)

I am through-and-through a Tassie girl and will always be no matter where I move. We are currently living in Launceston (2nd Largest city with 100k people) but are hoping to move back up the North-West coast to Devonport (21500 people) to settle. Lovely rolling hills, green nearly all year round, mountain views. Perfect place to raise my kids (I was raised on a dairy farm so my girls are going to have a minimum of 1/2 an acre 10 minutes from town) :)

No hustle and bustle for me :)

Oh you are so lucky lisa I would give anything to be in australia right now - my hubby was offered a job at the end of last year and we started to really gear up for the move but it was all too good to be true and his company shut down all international requruitment and the post dissapeared - he's still trying but as he needs security clearance a lot of the positions are only open to australian citizens never mind fingers crossed something will come along.

I live in... AUSTRALIA!!! The last time I posted here I was living in Hong Kong. But now we are back in Aus near Sydney. I like the space, laziness, blue sky, ocean, mountains, trees, peace and that family are close by... I dislike the boring night life and that some family are close by hehe.

I live in the south of england but am origionally from edinburgh in scotland. We've moved about a lot because of my husbands work - a few places in england a couple in scotland and we stayed in vero beach in florida for a while as well. We would ideally love to live in australia and are attempting to move there at the mo but it's taking time.

I'm from Philly..born and raised, yes where will smith is from, my sister went to high school with him at over brook and my other sister went to school Shawn from boys II men. We have rich history and nightlife, I love the food and we have our language....the schools suck as does the violence..

I live in VA now, I hate that the pay rate sucks, racism is literally everywhere and they tax you up to your eyeballs..I love the school systems and that their murder rate in a year is philly's in a month. I love that I met my husband here as well..

I'm from the Hampton Roads area in VA, more specifically, Newport News on the peninsula on the east coast. We are surrounded by water so it gets pretty hot and muggy. But we have all 4 seasons so it isn't bad.

I HATE the traffic. If you have to commute to the "southside" or Va Beach and Norfolk then you have no choice but to have to go through a tunnel and I think people forget how to drive when they go through one. It sucks. Can you tell I have to commute?

The crime rate sucks pretty bad too in some parts but I guess that's anywhere with a high population.

It's like that in Baton Rouge too. Brightside turns to Lee turns to College. Bluebonnet turns to Coursey turns to George O'neal. And Jefferson merges to Airline then randomly re-appears intersecting Airline about a mile later. And so on and so forth. Meh, I'm used to it. But I can see how an out of towner would get confused.

I just have to add one more thing that I hate about living in Indy. The roadways are so confusing! They randomly switch names, then switch back. Some roads have 3 or more names!

I currently live in Indianapolis, Indiana. I like that there's so much to do, but I hate how much everything costs. I know it's not NEARLY as expensive as other places, but when only one parent works, there's not a whole lot of "wiggle room" in the budget. My husband is the one that works, and he is a butcher at the grocery store downtown.

I am originally from a small town in Michigan that nobody has ever heard of (unless you are from the surrounding areas). I moved here when I was 13 (16 years ago) with my mother and sister. I miss the hills, lakes, and scenery of Michigan, and I miss my family, but that's about it. My husband has always lived in Indy, though.

I live in the greater Baton Rouge area of Louisiana, which is in the southern United States (for those of you who live abroad). I've always lived here and so has my husband. I LOVE the food we have here...cajun/creole mixed with a little downhome southern comfort food. When I travel to other places the food just tastes bland. I dislike the heat and humidity and hate the love bugs. I also have a love/hate relationship with our history and culture.
