How many kids do you have/want?

I have 2 boys, and one on the way.

My son's are 2.5 and 1.5, and we have a daughter due next month - but we didn't plan to have 3 children so close together! Our eldest was born biologically but our second was adopted from East Africa. We started the adoption process when he was only 3 days old, it's now complete and we have moved back to the UK for the arrival of their little sister!

I always wanted 4 children. I think it will be at least 3 more years before we have another child though!

I wanted 4, hubby wanted 2, we're having 3 (we already have 2) but I think I would have babies forever if the hubby and bank balance would allow it! :-)

My ideal number is 4 too although I started late....at 34 yrs old and only 1 child (16mths)...I think I better hurry the heck UP! lol!

well we thought we did have the perfect family for us a girl aged 34 mnths and a boy aged 15 mnths until found out im pregnant again :/ my family are not happy with ths as during my1st i had hellp syndrome and both myself and daughter nearly died. so emergancy c-section then i had an eptopic and had a tube removed and while i was in hospital got pnemonia, then with my second i failed to dialate so yet another emergancy c-section, so this is defo the last child for me

Currently 3, 1 girl 11yr old (almost 12) and 2 boys 9yr old Autistic and a 3 yr old, I am due our 2nd little girl in the next 25days! I was an only child and always wanted more than the average 2.4 children, this however will be my last hubby has said no more due to suffering horribly with SPD from week 12 and being in constant pain. But I can live with 4, 2 of each I couldn't of asked for better :)

I have 1 girl who just turned 3. To seem cruel I never actually wanted any kids, wouldn't give her up for the world though!

Pregnancy nearly killed both me and my daughter so I'm definately sticking with one!

3 boys, 11, 10 and 3. Plus boy number 4 due in august, all planned and i'd love to have more but im running out of houseroom. Maybe a few more after i win the lottery.

we have 4. ages are 9,8,1 and 4 months. 3 girls and 1 boy. initially i never wanted kids until i became pregnant with my first(which we sadly miscarried). after that i knew i wanted to be a mum. my partner loves my 3 girls(he is their step-dad) and was very proud to become daddy to our son!

I have 6 children, 3 boys aged 17, 15 & 11, and 3 girls aged 6, 3 & 3 (twins), I would love to have more but want to wait till they've all grown up a bit first. I'm 1 of 4 and my mum was 1 of 7, so you could say big families run in the family. My brother has 5 and older sister has 3.

hi we have 2 boys one with slight cerebral palsy and the other with slight developmental delay and its bad enough i don't think we will have any more children

my mum has 6 children .. 4 girls 2 boys .. (1 boy 1 girl are twins) .. ages 21,20 (me),19,17,16,16
as well as me and my older sister my dad also has 1 boy (10) 1 girl (5)

although i like having lots of brothers and sisters personally i actually only want 2 or 3 children.
at the moment i just have a 14month old little boy.

i have 4 boys, 7 5 2 and 1 and would love another but maybe in a few years as my 1 year old still doesnt sleep through the night :)

I have 1 Girl and 1 Boy and would have liked another 1 but like Melanie, pregnancy doesn't agree with me, and i cant actually have any more children without seriously risking my health/life! I am very grateful for the children i have and quite happy to stick to 2 as I'd rather be around to see the ones ive got grow up. (p.s i am 1 of 6)

Poor you Melanie - my sister inlaw was the same and could only manage two pregnacies, she had two boys and always wanted a little girl - thankfully she's got a grandaughter now.

Well I only have one lilttle girl at the moment, but would love to have another child soon but will not start to try until weve paid all our debts off :) my partner wants 3 children in total and I would like a big family. I honestly would love to just have children as and when the Lord blessed us with them and not plan every single one...but in this day n age you kind of have to. But I am leaving it in God's hands as and when our next child is conceived.
