i have noticed a lot of unanswered questions from 2009 and very little for 2010 but the american site is full of stuff. is this an english thing that we dont talk or ask questions but just get on with it. there really is no need to just get on with it there are people out there been through similar if not the same and are willing to help if we just ask.

I think it is just a case that there are far more american mums who use this site than us brit mums. Either that or they have far too much time on their hands to use the internet while we are busy with our kids? (sorry,did that sound a bit bitchy? :/ ) lol

its not that we dont need help i dont think i think its maybe that the british dont like talking about their feelings and fears. i know when my kids were little i could have done with something like this because no matter how much my mum tried giving me advise she always came across as though she was interfering and trying to take over. some people need to talk and its about time the british realised that not everyone is out to critisise or tell you what to do but to advise when we ask for help. but like everything else thats my opinion and its each to their own.

I've noticed the same thing too (did try and reply the other day but you know what children are like!) It is strange that we are so unable to say how we are feeling or even ask for advice sometimes. I know i'm not "afraid" to ask friends but with family I don't like to "impose" so to speak! I'd like to be able to get to know more people from the UK, dont get me wrong the people ive gotten to know from the states are lovely, but its the time difference! I'd like to be able to talk to people in the same time zone and not only just be able to talk to them as I'm going to bed or vice versa xx thank you for your post it was nice to see someone else thinking the same as me :)
