My name is Kelly. I have a 9 year old with WS. He was diagnosed at 4 months when the doctor found a heart murmur. Well that turned into open heart surgery. He is doing well right now. We live in Illinois with my hubby and two other children.

HI my name is April and my almost 5 month old son has WS. He has already had 2 open heart surgeries and the dr.s say that the heart problems are from the WS. We live in FL and I haven't met anyone here yet. Good luck to you all.

My name is Amanda I live in Indiana. My 3 yr old step son just had open heart surgery in July. I was wondering did your child have to have anymore heart surgerys?

Not all the time..............but a lot of the time. I know some families in Illinois where their son doesn't have the heart problem.
