Myself and my husband tried for 4 years for our little angel and in August 2008 our little Jessica Ellen arrived at 39 weeks 6 days, weighing in at 7 pound 2 1/2oz.
We started trying for a baby after our wedding and after almost 1 year of no baby we went for a number of tests and found out that i suffer from PCOS and menorreah which resulted in the only way for us to have a baby was IVF.
Our first go of ICSI did not go very well and was stopped just before the egg collection, so we waited six months and tried again this time we managed to have the egg collection, I had 35 eggs!!!! taken out, but due to over-stimulisation I could not have them implanted, so again we had to wait six moinths!!! (which seemed like a lifetime).
We then had to have a stimulated cycle which was an awful process and in October 2007 two grade B embryos were implanted. Two weeks later we got the good news and after a lovely pregnancy and birth our little angel was born. It is like we have always had her she has just slotted into our life perfectly, she is such a good baby we dont know we have got her sometimes :-)
Now 10 months on we have booked our next IVF and are again going to start ICSI August this year so hopefully we will be lucky and have another little addition to our family :-) My husband would love a son but it does not matter to me as this will be our last child I will be happy with a son or daughter, I am so excited :-)
