46 year old grandmother

Hi all. I am a 46 soon to be 47...grandmother raising my 18 month old grandson. Boy..I know now why we have children when we are young. Although it is temporary, my husband and I have had to put our lives on hold. I am blessed to have him.

Welcome aboard Julie to over 40yrs old mums...........soon to be Happy 47th Birthday! That's amazing that you are raisin your 18 month old grandson..........your that special lady & be pround of yourself, because not everyone could do what your doing...........God gives you that extra strength that we need sometime even if it is only temporary.............and the answere to your question sorry I don't have the answere because I do agree with you that children should not have children too young...........I was 25yrs old when I had my son!

Sorry to hear that you & husband had to put your life's on hold..........but it is because your grandson needed his grandparents just for a little while...........

My name is Jeanne I have 3 children my older son Sylvain is 19 years old with Twins Matthieu (ADHD) & Natalie will turning 17 years old on the 3rd of March. I'm a single mom over 40 will be 45 this coming May. Yes it's tough but I wouldn't change it or change them for the world!

I've battling chronic depression + anxiety for over 15 years and now I have Fibromyalgia this major work for me to be a stay home mom, and sick......because I loved my career and working Mom.........my doctor after 2 years wants me to go on disability........I finally agreed, but very difficult to do at my age......they I sort of look at it will say on my tombstone that I was a good career women........God must have a plan for me..........because he put me in this direction for a reason!
