I like to be Grandma. On the other side we have Nanna, my mum is Nan and the other is Nanny so we have all shared and chosen our favorites. the kids actually call us all of them though lol. I like to think its because they see us as all the same. one of mine calls me Gammy though, he says i am special, bless him ♥

I became "Annie" at age 44 when my first grandchild was born. I, like others whose posts I've read, felt too young to be Granny or Grandman. Since my middle name is Ann, my two girls decided that I should be Annie as a grandparent.

i became grandma 4 the 1st time at 34 & yea i was young but i don't care what my grandkids call me i leave it up 2 them !! ppl that don't want called this or that coz it makes them feel old makes me angry coz it's just a name !! it doesn't age u any GET OVER IT PPL

Well I get called Grammy by my daughter's kids and Grandma Annie by my son's kids. I have a friend who's last name is Smith. They call her Apple... you know Granny Smith. :)

I am going to be a Nana around May 14th. I can't wait. It's going to be a girl and her name is Ava.

My parents are Grams and Grams. My grand parents are now called Grammy and Grampy.

I love Grams. Everyone at church that is under 30 call her Grams and my Dad Gramps.

To save confusion for my grandchildren, they call me Nana, my Mother is Granny and on the other side she is called Grandma. Always know who they are talking about.

Grammy & I love it! They all have so many grandmas via remarriages, etc We all have our own special moniker, so there's no confusion...except for this 51yr old Grammy. I'm still 18yrs old in my mind...who are these little kids hollering for "Grammy!"...lol.

my 8 yr old granddaughter calls me grandma but my daughter calls me grandma cindy 2 her when we're on the phone so she knows who it is when she gets on!! i don't care what they call me as long as it has 2 do with grandma!! i leave it up 2 them !!

Gammie juju...we have a complicated family step kids, etc. so we have to add the identifying name to it...so hence im either gammie juju or gams juju :) I love it!

My oldest grandson (almost 2) calls me Gamma, his other mom calls me G-ma to him, which is perfectly okay with me. changing times, changing language. My 8 month old grandson's mom and dad call me Grandma, to him. Any title is good with me. :)

My grandchildren call me Nana, I had one grandmother that we called Grandma Miller and the other we called Mammaw. In the the past I would have said that "Grandma" was the most popular in our family, but with this generation, Nana is more popular.

I let my 1st grandchild decide what to call me....he came up with "Mia"...don't know why, don't know how, don't care....it's his name for me and I LOVE it!!! My daughter also came up w/her own names for my parents...we tried to get her to call them "granny & papa" as that is what I called my gparents, but she decided they were "momma and gaga" and they have been that for 23 years now!
