I have raised my son and nephew as a single mom. The road was not always easy but we made it through with prayer and ....... :-) I must say my boys are doing ok for themselves. They are out on their own. My son is 25 and has three beautiful children he is raising with his wife. My 19 year old nephew has moved to California to pursuit his dreams.

I have since returned to school to complete my degree in social work. I am really enjoying this stage of my life.

Thank you! Not always easy, but is anything worth having come easy? Hasn't for me. Thank you for your positive message and hope you live that out in your life, as positive as you can be today.

Thank you! I love having my house to myself. I miss my son sometimes, but he comes to visit with his son and girlfriend. Love seeing them, but I love the house being quiet

good for you.i have 5 kids of my own a daughter from my frist marriage, she is21 and doing great i have a 23 year old step son and still at home we have a 15 year old daughter and twins that are 9, like yours our road travel has been hard. i broke my hip at 30 when the twins were 2 rich has always been disabled. last year we lost our home and everything we owend. but the universe always makes things better. as bad as it was we found a great place it a great town and in one year we have grown all of us, the kids are at school that are amazing, we moved in with nothing not even beds. but life has a way of sometimes giving you a push that you need to make your life better. i am very spiritual myself i believe everything happend for a reson. we get stuck and we stop growing .doing things for yourself is great, going back to school is a great thing i wentfor a while for the same thing then just before i broke my hip i was supoose to take the cda test to work as an aid with kids with disablitys my son and husband both have bipolor and ocd. now i finde things to do for myself even tho i can not work.
turning 40 was a huge turning point for me i relized that i am sombody with alot to offer and so now i volenterr for animals o work at noahs special ed school and i got rid of all the drama in my life and i leanred you do not need to let just anyone in your life you can pick who you want to be your friends. it also shows my kids that being disabled does not mean you can not have a life and the last year tought them that bad things happen but if you have faith sometimes the worst things can turn out to be the best and change your life for the better. we may not have a lotof money and some months it is real hard but i learned that stuff is just stuff and can be replaced and money as nice as it is does not last long.being true to yourself and loving and caring about people is what makes you happy.
good for you moving on with your life and better yourself
