Hello,

I'm 46 and have 2 year old girl. My daughter is fortunate I am an older mom becasue I believe I am much more mature and settled than I was if I had her 10 or 20 years before. I had a fantastic pregnancy and she was born completely normal.I don't know what the big fuss is about older moms.

alot of people call me stupid for having my last child at 40...all is good.

snap , same age as me , although my eldest is 12 and my youngest is 9 i was a late starter on the baby trail by choice , as i would have been diabolical as a mother at any other point in my life too selfish , busy , and having a good time in general , but boy have the kids reaped the rewards they play me like a grand piano !!! love it being a mum old mother nature knows what shes doing , i started getting broody about 34 and had to pinch myself for looking in shop windows at baby shops i had never had time to consider before i thought i had some kind of illness looking at a babys in prams was not my thing , next thing i new i was pregnant , natural birth although 2 weeks over on my first , caeserian on my 2nd 3 weeks over but this was only due to previous med history over looked by docs , anyway both safe and sound and keeping me young both in body and mind , ha ha
