Hi Julie, I am great Thanks for asking! Christmas brougt a wedding, a new Daughter in law!

Waiting for spring for the new Grandchild to be born.  L:eah keeps me very busy. She just turned 3!  Cameron is going to be 2  in April. He also is very busy!  I love being a Grandmother and sending them home everyday!!!

Hi Julie,yes,thankyou,we're starting off the new year in good shape.I'm looking forward to meeting new mom's on circle of mom's.My days are very challenging with a active 9 year old and my 26 year old,who is now handicapped,since a car accident in Dec/04.My eldest is out of the nest and expecting to be a father in July/09 for the first time.One day at a time,is my moto.All the best to you,ttfn:-)

Hi Julie, I am new at this. I am a mom of three ages 29 with a husband and three of there own. 21 in 3rd year University and 16 in grade 11. I am51 yrs. old and am remarried to a wonderful man who has three children of his own and three grandchildren also. The reason I can be an old mom is because we are the caregivers of my husbands two grandchildren we have been raising one for over 7 yrs. and he is 8 yrs. old and now his mom had another baby and we are raising her also, she is 21 months old. I hope there are others like me out there that can chat from time to ime as I do feel very alone and cannot relate to any of my friends my age as they are all becoming empty nesters.

Hello Julie, thanks for the invitation. In fact I am over 40 and enjoyed having the last of my six children at 42. My daughter is now 10 years old. After all these years of having my children around me (now nearly 27) I am to her regret still deeply envolved in education :-)....For christmas I had all my children, my loving husband and my parents around me - it is such a gorgeous feeling! Hi,

My name is Diane Bradley..I enjoyed Christmas very much. I am a mother and nana all my kids are grown, but I have 3 grand-daughter here with me for awhile along with their mom and dad. We have fun...and 2 of them are still potty training the oldest of the two is age 3 and has accidents, but the youngest in potty training and still really in diapers and like to put on panties will be 2 in about 40 days. She like to do as the big girls do....

We started young too - and you are sooo right - the grandchild (in my case granddaughter) is a BLESSING!!  It was a surprise - dad (my son) is 20 and mom is now 18 (17 when the baby was born) - but she finished high school and my son is going to nursing school at the local community college.  It is so amazing the feelings for this little baby (she turned 8 months this past Saturday).  It is exactly what people say - love them, play with them, but let the parents take care of them (LOL).  In our case, because the parents are so young, the other grandma and I help a lot, but these 2 young parents are really doing a great job!!  It is so wonderful to see my son with his daughter and see what a great dad he is!!  Oh, I could go on and on - anyway - hope everyone has a great new year.  I'm looking forward to talking to other in the circle.  BTW - my kids are 22, 20, and 16 - all boys.  God Bless, Wendy

Hi Julie.  I am Lisa in Derry NH with my 5 year old, Adam.  As a working mom I need to have him in daycare nearly 11 hours a day.  He's adapted quite well, but it makes me nuts to have only a couple of hours a night with him.  I've found a home business that may change this; we'll see.

hi kelly, i am already a nanny lol, i have 2 grand daughters aged 8 months and  3 months called ruby and robyn, i was married very young to 1st hubby and have 2 boys aged 23 ans 19 as well as ethan aged 3 and george aged 1 (23rd jan 09) dave is my 2nd hubby and my toy boy he is 15 yrs my jnr, he had no kids when we met through work... i was divorced from hubby a yr before  was a bad relationship but stuck it out for 18yrs... my older lads dont live close  but we meet up when we can.... it too hope i dont look 44.. tho some days i feel 94.. god bless you speak soon xxxx

great to join this group, i have somewhat of a mixed bag im 51 with 3 children left at home 12, 14, and 17, i also have 3 grown up children eldest daughter 29 lives in ireland with her hubby and my granson harry, daughter here in bli bli sunshine c9oast 28 married last oct and son (26) in wales in paras (afghan) married with a daughter Milly and my new grandson 4 days old kallen, so my family are well spread and i miss the 2 i dont see very often ever sooooooooo much. I live in australia having moveed here 4 1/2 years ago and i get lonely sometimes. I work as a nutrimetics consultant from home and really enjoy this business its very diverse and gives me the extra income for all those little extras that crop up.

Hey Kathie,

I returned to work after being home for 2yrs. It was hard at first. More for me then my 3yr old. She is doing fine. Talking with coworkers has helped. The day care is great. I made the right choice because being home all day with a little one I lost myself. Now I feel better about myself and what I am doing. Good Luck:0)

Kathie: are they flexible at all? My SIL works part time and is home when her kids get home from school. Sounds like a win-win but not all employers are willing to accomodate us (sad, huh?). Good luck with your decision, I'm working from home as a freelance copywriter and some days I'd like to take my 2 yo son to hubby's work and let him see how much he can get done with a toddler underfoot! LOL.

Hi Julie, I hope your family had a great holiday. Ours sure did. It was wonderful seeing my 2 3/4 year old with Santa this year. I am having a hard time figuring out the circle of moms. All of my friends have children older than mine. I am 42 with a 2 3/4 year old son. I live in the country and no one here has little ones. I am wondering how I go about finding moms my age with little ones without reading all the profiles. Zachary is a very active little boy and does not allow me much time on the computer.
