Hi ! at point in IVF cycle donor eggs ..where i am very anxious ..oh boy ..second time trying it ..anyone want to share ..i am 41 and half almost .

I would like to tell you i am already on meds ..estrace and lupron and aspirin ..my lining check is Thursday and so is an endometreil biopsy scratch i have elected to do this time ..it has proven good results and we did not do it last time .The donor just started her stim meds yesterday .She is a first time donor --born in 1985 ..she also is a fraternal twin ..we are praying for a great smooth cycle and some terrific quality embryos ..anyone els going thru anything similar ..any ideas or answers or questions ..last ivf donor cycle ended in a chemical or ectopic pregnancy ..they rare not sure which .It was awful especially after we have had 2 other miscarriages ..but they were with my own eggs .

Dear Sandra, I just want to wish you strength and hope you are able to find some peace of mind in this process. Being stressed out is not going to help you become pregnant, though I do understand how stressfull it is, waiting......Ectopic pregnancies are terrible, dissapointing, heartbreaking, destructive. I've had 4. At age 43 I delivered a baby boy, I became pregnant during my first round of IVF, no donor, third return of embryo's. How special!!! The pregnancy was nervewrecking, I remained scared....even big as a house, i was still very scared. BTW, when I was first pregnant with my son, an intern at the hospital told me it was an "empty egg". I wasn't really pregnant according to her...She wanted to give me medicine to clean the womb. I didn't take them. Four days later, during another hospital visit, it turned out it wasn't an empty egg at all!! Stay in touch with your feelings, remain calm and have a little faith.
