I am so excited to join! This will be my first time. I am a proud mom of three married children (30,29,26) and I have 7 grandkids all under the age of 7! I became a mom at 19 and loved every minute of it. Now I experiencing the grandma thing and it is INCREDIBLE. I am hoping there are other moms that can relate to my experiences so we can chat about various challenges when it comes to making sure they each feel they are getting equal attention and love considering how close in age the older ones are. My 5 yr old granddaughter always asks me for "privat time withme " and i love to be able to comply with her wish but it sometimes becomes problematic bec.l not all of them get the chance if my daughter suddenlyu announces it is time to leave etc..... Any suggestions?????

Hi Debbie,

Welcome to Circle of Moms. This is the best site I have ever been on. It gives all of us moms a chance to chat, exchange ideas, recipes and all kinds of crisises that life has to throw our way.

Anyway, I am a mother of two. Our son is now 32 and we have a daughter that is going to be 16 in february. We also have two grandsons aged 5 and 7. They are such a joy in our lives. You could try having one on one time with each of them by having a craft day, or a sleep over and let them take turns that way you will be able to concentrate on each one individualy. Talk to your daughter to see if this could be arranged, at your convienience of course. Do all your grandchildren live in the same town or city as you do?
