I'm 47. I have two sons 25 and 23 and two daughters 10 and 11. My house is always a mess, I'm always running from one place to another. I'm working part-time can't work full-time because there's no time left! Even when we go camping I work constantly! I just don't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have been raising children since I was 21 and I love it, but when do they start doing the work! Haha! I used to be so organized, what happened to me, somewhere a bomb went off and I lost it all. Super mom died and left crazy mom in her place!

I understand! I feel as though it is a never ending battle to keep my sanity. I have three daughters at home, ages 8, 11 & 13. I used to be very organized also. Not sure when I lost it!!!!!

I'm sure you are a great mom!!! You will have plenty of time to keep your house spotless after the ''kids" have grown. I have found that even at age 10 & 11, children can be a big help.;and by age 14 & 15 they are nearly indispensable. Being a mother is a 24/7 job, with no vacation time. :)

I'm 43 with two boys ages 9 and 4,,,it really hasn't hit me until this year that "what in the world was I thinking having kids in my thirties!!" I have very little support since my MIL passed away about 4 years ago and my mother has recently been diagnosed with early signs of dementia. With all the running around taking them to ballgames, church and their other activities we don't have any downtime....not to mention I have 3 siblings who expect me to help with our mother. But, this is just my life now and no amount of whining is going to change it...so I just keeping plugging along and try to do the best I can. So what if my house isn't spotless and I can't be Supermom, at least I have the best kids in the whole world!! Even if they don't keep their rooms spotless!!LOL
