any advice about how to make her feel welcome in our family. our son says she thinks we are a little intense.

thank you for the advice. maybe i'll try something that thier cats would also enjoy. i have been having her help me learn learn my way around my computer and other small things that we seem to have in common.

What she feels is down to her, just be yourself , be patient kind and interested in her . Make sure your son knows your trying and DO not run her down or badmouth her to him . Sometime along the way she will be mom to your grandkids so keep this in mind , she already loves your son so make sure you remain in-laws and dont become out- laws. Kim dont worry yourself to this too much or you will become anxious , and buy her a plant so each time she waters it she will know you gave it to her out of love..........jackie xx
