I Know the feeling all to well. I read all these books and looking up the risk online about having a child at my age. I prayed a lot. Daija is healthy and is runnung the house LOL. I was so scared having a baby at my age and I am a single mother. It is a blessing do stress God will never give you and your husband more than you guys can handle,

I recently found out I am expecting again (after a 15 year hiatus!) and my husband is freaking out! My 3 older children (previous relationship) are 19, soon to be 20 and just starting college, and 14 year old twins (almost 15) starting HS in 2 days! Needless to say my hubby, going on 52, is overwhelmed to say the least! This will be his first biological child. He stepped up years ago and raised the ones we have and I look at this as a blessing AND major surprise! I am a bit anxious about being pregnant at 41/42, overweight and a previous mom of twins so I know my odds are increased so praying for healthy and hopefully 1 lol!

I am now 47 years old. A couple of years ago I went to the doctor and was told I was starting premental pausal. That was only part of my issues because the next time I went back I was told I was 7 1/2 months. I thought it was all a joke and it wasn't. How could this be my son was 17 and my two daughters was 20 and 23. I was ready to move on and time for me finally. I guess God had other plans. Daija is now here and is a joy to me and my kids. Daija's father is not in her life (his lost) even though I love her some days I still wonder how do this happen, I still feel a little lost. I have no one to talk to because all my friends kids are older and no one really understand. What should I do?

I'm 34 with 3 boys, 11, 5, and 4, and the love of my life is my very first boyfriend from high school. We are expecting a baby girl very soon (my first, his third). We are both divorced from our respective (but not respectable...lol!) ex-spouses and have found a new path of the relationship we had way back then. I may not seem "old", but we decided that if we were to have a child together, he did not want to wait until after I turned 35 for health reasons (mine and the baby's). His daughters' mother was 39 and 40 when she had his girls, and he was constantly worried about their health (fyi, he's the same age as me!). I feel weird feeling like an older mom because everyone in my family was done having kids by their very early 30s.

Isn't it great? I am 47 - the toddler is just gorgeous and 4 months away from 3. The two older boys are 17 and 15 1/2. We have totally changed our lives because of our little surprise. He has brought joy to the family again. The big kids love him and he adores them.
