I'm 41 and have 2 year old twins--my only children. The majority of my friends are 20 years ahead of me in the baby dept, and they're now grandparents.

Can I be your friend? I am 44 and have a fifteen month old. He does have a 21 year old sister, a 20 year old sister, and a 17 year old brother, but no nieces or nephews yet. I did fine with my 20-something and 30-something friends up until recently, but i have a different perspective on the toddler years and am craving "children my own age" right now.
