Hi i am 45 and have 4 kids they go from 26,19,15 and a 3 year old any others out there doing it on their own

you are sooo right

it is sometines lonely but not having the arguments and saying no can be good to.

it does help sometimes to have the male figure for authority and not always being the bad or mean one that says no to something they want

anyways glad you found someone you look really happy in your picture

Not single anymore , but was for a long time while raising my boys. I did more time alone than with a partner when my kids were growing up. Its kinda like anything it had good and bad ....it was lonely at times but it was also good not having to worry about someone saying no to something either ( cept the kids of course )

hey single mom here too

i only have one and she is 7

i actually dont mind being single since i have been doing it since the very beginning

dating can be a bit odd at times as she is very demanding and like you i am very protective .since she is still young i don`t let too many people come into our home that aren`t really close friends but i am sure their is someone out there down the road

single moms are tough cookies and can handle a bunch of things so hang in there

Yeah- hi Justine!!! ive got 3-18,8 and 6 and have been doing it by myself for the past 4 1/2 yrs. Ive got a b/f but we dont live together and he'sat work etc so doesn't have much time around the kids. I quite like being a single parent now im used to it, but it can be very hard too at times. Ive noticed ive become quite possessive of them- i guessits my perogative to be choosy!!! Hope you enjooy this site- I love it!!!. Best wishes and remember you're doing a great job!!. x
