My oldest son is a paraplegic. He was in a car accident when he was 15 which caused him to be paralyzed from the waist down. What does everyone think of the controversial topic of stem cell research.

I heard of a girl in Indianapolis who was in a diving accident that left her paralyzed. They were using her adult stem cells and I believe she is now in physical therapy. Every case is different.

My doctor also believes in using you own adult stem cells to heal you body.

I wish we would have started stem cell usage years ago! I think it is a wonderful opportunity if the powers-that-be could see what a value is given in this life cord. I pray it continues. My best to you and your son...
