I am currently raising my 2 granddaughters,ages 2 & 3(going on 4 in 4months) and teaching them the basics like ABC's and 123's isn't like when I raised their mom and my other 2 children, so if anyone has suggestions,they're more than welcome to add to here. :)

One of my favorite videos for teaching ABC's is the Leap Frog Talking Letters Factory. Both of my kids, Age 2 1/2 and almost 5 learned their letters and sounds from this video. I reinforced it by getting the ABC tub letters and going over them while in the tub or when potty training my first. Instead of saying the name of the letter, they first learned the sound of the letter. I reinforced both. Hope this is helpful to you.
