children who learn music on their own

Aloha,
I'm finding a lot of information in the musical moms community spot about music therapy, lessons, and etc, but does anyone out there have children that learn music on their own? My children are age:
13 ~ plays guitar, ukulele, banjo, percussion, keyboard, bass, lap steel, autoharp, and vocals
10 ~ ukulele, bass, and vocals
6 ~ bass, percussion, and vocals.
My eldest is self taught with his music, and he teaches his two younger siblings. No one in our family plays music but them, but my husband and I are very supportive. Here's a couple of videos of my babies:

Lanet,
You have a beautiful family, and talented! I would encourage them to continue with their interest in music. My parents do not play any instrument, but I just loved playing instruments and music growing up. They encouraged me to continue by giving my lessons and such. I eventually received a degree in music education and in music therapy. Music is just a joy and a wonderful reward. Enjoy your family and the beautiful music!

Hello! My son learned to play clarinet at school but he's been teaching himself to play the piano (keyboard) and he also knows a little trombone. He loves finding sheet music online and teaching himself to play it. He's 13.

Aloha,

I have a feeling that our son is going to be talented. At 2 1/2 he was holding a violin and bow. He also loves to 'sing' with us. My husband is a natural...he for the most part is self taught. It is a wonderful gift to be able to just pick up something and teach yourself. They will let you know if they need anything. Just love and support them and they will continue to blossem.

Good luck with them and enjoy the music.
