thanks for all your information! I am now 37 weeks 2 cm dilated and my dr said based on my pregnancy I have a 51-57% success rate! I am sooo ready to have the vbac exspecially bc I am already dialating! I was 38 weeks with my first and not at all dilated! I hope this means higher chances for me! thanks again!

yeah I am going to have the v-bac at a military hospital which has all of the things needed for a v-bac like a blood bank and certain drs there 24/7! I had a c-section BC my baby was due dec 25 the dr had a vacation dec 20th so he said my bp was high(which it wasnt) and I had pitting edema, which is normal at 38 weeks, but my dr now says they have had many successful v-bacs so she made me feel at ease about it. I would love to read other storys!!!!! My dr also said there was no legitament reason for the c-section so.

I had a successful VBAC a year ago now and it was such an amazing experience. What was your reason for the c-section with your first? Do you have a good dr/midwife who is 100% supportive of your desire to have a VBAC. I think that is the most important part of being successful is having that great encouragement and support. I have a VBAC blog if you are interested. It has some great resources and info and VBAC stories too. If you have any questions I'd be happy to help.
