I have my own business and work from home and I love it!! I also go to school so any free time with family is great. It is fun and easy to do. I'm a sales consultant for Madison Handbags and LOVE it. It's a fairly young company that's rapidly growing so there's a ton of potential to earn money and do really well.
We're a design your own handbag company, offering about 20 different styles and accessories. Hi Etta,
You need to look at whether you want to have a "job" or a home-based business. If you like the thought of being your own boss, then a business is for you, but you need to be willing to put in the effort. Find something that you LOVE and are passionate about. For example: I love Health and Nutrition and was really into weight loss (because of my own journey). I knew I could help people because of what i'd gone through. When I found a company that "fit" and had a great compensation plan, I jumped in with both feet! It is work, but it's a lot of fun too....and when I get the "Thank you! You've changed my life!", there's nothing better! I would also look for a company that will train you, and give you support. That's very valuable. If you don't like to do "partys" find something you can do everyday while you are out running errands or chatting with friends.

Hi,

Stephanie has covered most of the product related info. I have always been a programmer and I work through several online work companies each who have a wide range of 'experts' to advise clients. What you get paid depends on the skills you have and the reputation you have to back you up. It can take a little while to build up, but I don't sneeze at a $2k part-time income a month.

First consider what you enjoy doing. Working from home is ALOT of fun and very rewarding if you're doing something you love. If you don't love it then it will be very difficult to make time for it.

- How much is it to start?

- Is it consumable or will there be return customers?

- Is it something you would want, need, or purchase?

- What is the percentage you'll receive and the average a person earns?

- Is there quota's or annual fees?

- Rewards? Vacations, Bonuses, free products?

- Who do you know that would use this because you will always start with your friends and family.

- Is it affordable? Some companies have pricier items or service for the same quality ie Silpada vs. Premier.



There are many different things out there to chose from, from insurance and groceries to kitchen ware and candles.
