Hi ladies, my name is Michelle. I live in Australia, so I am hoping that I can still get any feedback not just from Australians but from women the world over. I am interested in starting a business that sells recycled pre-loved clothes, shoes and handbags. Mainly I will display my wares at places like week-end markets. I am more interested in having items that are unusual and interesting looking. Rather than the usual wholesale lot that basically look the same. I can also source designer clothes, shoes and handbags. Many items are new and unused, with some still with tags attached. If you were to visit my stall at the markets, what sort of brands would you be interested in purchasing for yourself and your family members? I am not so worried about people being interested in the clothing and handbags, but more so with second hand shoes. Do you ladies buy second hand shoes? My hubby and I own and run a small shoe repair shop. And my hubby mentioned that some people would be put off with pre-loved shoes, as some people may consider it unhygienic? I am unsure, that is why I am asking. What about stocking maternity wear? I don't know about your part of the world, but over where I live there are so many pregnant women around at the moment. And at the markets I have found that there isn't much available for pregnant women. Also I am interested in having newborn clothes and accessories. We all know that newborn clothes are necessary. But they are worn for such a short period of time. So wouldn't it make more sense to buy good quality clothes at a fraction of the cost of clothes bought new at the shops? This time of the year can be a strain on most people's budgets. We all need clothes to wear, so I am trying to get into a niche that is a daily necessity. I believe that researching new adventures is vital. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
