Depending on where you live, your local Chamber of Commerce has bi-weekly or monthly luncheons or dinner networking events. There is also a networking group called BNI which also has weekly networking events. There are also several women's networking groups (Roaring Women; eWomen Network are two that I can think of at the moment. They are both in the US and Canada. Just google Women' Networking and see what is in your area. But you can check out both of the above groups to find out more. Good luck.

Hi Bonnie, I love to network too! This is going to be my focus this year. I'm going to try to seek out more of the Coffee/Dinner/Cocktail Networking Groups this year. Do you have any national ones you really can suggest for me to try?

Network, network, network! Go to networking luncheons, dinner meetings, etc. Do not give everyone you meet your business card....try to build a relationship with no more than 3 people at a meeting. They will remember you when you later send them a "Nice to Meet You" card or you phone them.
