We should pick a park somewhere near us all and plan a meetup!! We have a nice park in Ringwood, but you have to walk down the hill to the library for bathrooms.....which isn't that conveniant. Anyone have another thought?

I know what you mean.  I am an RN at Chilton and work full time hours so I sympathize.  I also have my own jewelry business so I am burning the candle at both ends most days.  I would like to say it gets easier as it gets older but I think it just gets different. But no matter what you still love iT!

Hi Everyone! I am in West Milford too.  I have two girls ages 3 1/2 and soon to be one on Feb. 22.   I do work 2-3 12 hour shifts a week as an RN and have a lia sophia jewelry business that is more fun than work. its mommy time with grown ups :)  If anyone is interested in a play group let me know and we can try to set something up.

My sister lives in Vernon and it is alot of mountains and hilly.  The school system is definately good as my niece is 9 and she is doing well.  I like they way they have the different grades in different schools from each other.  I wich Belleville was like that.  But you might want to look into Jefferson.  You can get something affordable with a good size property.

congratulations on your son, too precious and luck enough to stay home! I'm in West Milford, mom of three, my youngest is in Kindergarten, I work in Bergen County fulltime. I have a LOT of family to help! I admire stay at home moms. It's harder than working. In most cases now-a-days, most homes need a two-working parent routine in their home. You're blessed!!!

I think Sparta's taxes are higher too - although for cheaper taxes you have to move further northwest and further away from things (I live by Stokes State Forest - cheap taxes but stinky commute!)

Hopatcong is nice, cheap houses but too many roads and hills, and their school system is not really up to par. My friends live there and they love the other but had to take some of their kids out of the school system and put them in charter school further up in sussex county. Sparta I heard is a really nice town to live in but lots of driving to everything. Good luck.
