So where in Houston does everyone live? We are in the Spring/The Woodlands area. We just moved here in November and I don't know anyone and have no idea what there is to do. I'm open to advice and eager to make some friends!

Depending on how little your little one is, the Children's Museum in Houston is great! They have just updated their TOT SPOT for babies from birth up to 36 months I think. We are heading there on Tuesday with a bunch of friends from our baby support group at Women's Hospital of TX.

We also moved to Houston (Katy, Cinco Ranch more specifically) in October, when I was about 5 months pregnant. I still don't know anyone and since baby was born have had too much at hand to get out much or meet anyone. How are you liking Spring/The Woodlands area? We haven't explored that part of the Houston vicinity yet.

Sugar Land - I've found that the local library is a great resource for children's activities. The 1st Colony library has "Mother Goose Time" every Tuesday at 11am for infants. Other days & times, they have programs for toddlers, preschoolers, etc. Its really well attended, well run, & FREE!

Hi Suzanne

Welcome to Houston! We too are planning to move to Katy shortly.  Whereabouts are you located? Kingsland, Cinco, Seven Meadows?

Welcome to Houston.  How do you like it so far?  Things to do....What kinda things do you like? Discovery Green in downtown has some activities and events happening.  The Rodeo is of course the biggest thing in town right now.  There's also Miller Outdoor Theatre, Angelika theatre.  Check out their sites and you may find something you like.

Oh and I'm in the Medical Center right now.
