No More Tears

No More Tears is a group for parents who want to come together and discuss gentle ways of putting their babies and children to bed. Our group does not advocate sleep training methods, including, but not limited to, controlled crying and cry it out. This group will discuss alternative methods for sleeping and help dispel wrong information that is given to parents by well meaning friends, family, and even doctors. Feel free to debate about various information, but remember, never attack an individual, only an idea. We are all parents who want to do what is best, and if someone's opinion differs for your own, please agree to disagree. You do not have to be an Attachment Parent to join or ask questions, you just have to want to help your child in a gentle and loving manner. One basis premise of the group is that when infants cry, there is a reason. Within the group we will address those reasons and share information that each of us as individual parents have found through research and experience. There is no one right way to parent your child to sleep, and this group is here to help you make the best and most informed choice possible. Please read the sticky post for some important information about the group as a whole.
