OOooh..I can't stand him from that one page.  He has the gall to bastardise stuff from my field (psychology).  The idiot has says that picking up a crying baby is reinforcement. Does he even know wha that word means when he says it!  Now I"m mad and have a new person to dislke in this are.  Thanks, Lisa dear, you got me fired up about something else, LOL.

Ah, see that's what I was wondering. I scanned the reviews but there was a mixed lot. I'm not familiar with Dobson, however, so out of curiousity, what is he involved in?



See what I was hoping for was something more that dispelled the junk people like Ezzo spew, and at a glance it wasn't easy to tell what angle the book took, but when reading some of the reviews I was afraid it was going to be the direction I didn't like...

Probably not, in light of the 6th review down (I think?) written by David A. Cooperson- it seems as if that the research on corporal punishment was wishy-washy, and backed by the ever-so-engaging Dobson- whom I dislike as much as Gary Ezzo (author of Babywise). Their defence of his negative review was luke-warm at best.



I just don't think I can embrace the other research done in the book in light of their apparent 'results' from their research regarding spanking.
