Im with you...time to see the positive and let the negative slip into that back file cabinet of our minds.

My DH lost his job completely last week but we've been fortunate that they didnt fight him on his paychecks(which they've done before)so we will be able to pay our bills this month and get the kids a little something for the holiday.

That is ending this year on a higher note than its been for the last few months.

Im sorry your year was rough as well. You are right...its not easy not letting the stresses pre-occupy us but I think if we can encourage one another we might just make it.

Hillarie, I understand completely. I lost friends this year, my marriage fell apart, my life is literally starting over after 11 years. It's the scariest thing in the world. I am trying to get more in touch with the Goddess tho through it all. That isn't easy either being so pre-occupied with the rest.
I hope that the next year turns around for everyone. I think we need as much positive as we can get these days ;-)

This year had some ups but more downs. Ill be happy to start fresh.



My great uncle died and a week later his son died in a freak accident(this was in May). My grandpa(great uncles brother)died suddenly in July and broke our whole family to pieces, he was the rock for that side of the family.



In January my husband reunited and made amends with his 3 brothers who he hadnt seen in over 11 yrs. But that is a work in progress that isnt going anywhere fast. Even after they all apologized for their parts and said the past was in the past they dont seem to have truly let it all go and still hold blame on my hubby. So its been slow go with that.



My husbands job has been hit and miss cuz they are total twits and disrespectful of people who dont suck up to them. So he's had lots of bounced checks and other things that dont help already strained finances.



Spiritually, Im in a stalemate but I finally feel the fog lifting a bit and look forward to working harder at it next year and not letting the stresses of life overrun that part of me.
