I know probably most parts of attatchment parenting but I would like to know all the parenting ways that are called attatchment parenting. Please post the names of the techniques or styles with the discription of the typical ap. I know this is nonextreme but can you all hel me learn the typical extreme styles? I am interested to know how much I actually fit into the extreme ap style. Thanks mommys!

Google it... really though, I don't see attachment parenting so much as a list of techniques you have to do. To me, attachment parenting is just meeting your children's needs, being sensitive to their emotions, and treating them with respect.

um, from my knowledge, there is wearing or carrying your baby - i had a friend that would wear her babies when they were asleep, and would even sleep with her babies on her. i found my last baby slept better when i put him down on the bed. co-sleeping. demand breastfeeding. elimination communication - diaper free. baby - led weaning. what attachment parenting means to me, is to follow my babies cues, a way he communicates with me. also to parent as naturally as possible. i need very little baby paraphernalia by attachment parenting :-) i also find supporting his releases (crying) as a really good way of him releasing tension (Aletha Solters work) . what other areas can you think of or do you practice? these are all the things i do, by the way.
