New teeth, new trick

Well my little guy got his first two teeth about a month ago and everyone kept 'warning' me about biting, but he never clamped down. Well then the third one came in and suddenly he is biting. My breasts are so sore from him clamping down. I have been lightly plugging hid nose, so that he opens his mouth, and then I put him down., to show him that when he bites he is done. But it isn't working and I'm in pain. What have you guys done?

Yes, II agree with Brenda, but of cause that still keeps you with the bite ... I've been told to watch out for the yar to chiver ... the suck will stop and there is a rearagement in their tongue as well as yar position that you might be able to catch ... that would be the moment to pull him in.

I could never really figure that one out, but I am also not very nipple sensetive. Hope that helps

I never got to this point with mine, when I had to stop he was only 4 weeks, but I've heard that pressing them into the breast until they unlatch and telling them no and putting them back onto the breast works for a lot of moms.  Good luck!
