I thought I should give a better intro.

My name is Kristy, I live in Colorado, just finished my B.S.W., considering a masters, don't work, currently on SSDI, volunteer and a step-mom of a 13 year old boy. I live with my "partner", his son and my doggie baby.

I have a whole list of chronic health issues, which have come to be classified as physical disabilities as well as ADHD and learning and processing disabilities.

The biggest challenges lately are the pain and what I like to call "motivational issues".



Just looking n hoping for people that "get it", been there, won't judge, and can offer real help, support or advice and not just platitudes.

Kristy,

Congrats on your B.S.W.! I just got my M.S. in Early Childhood Ed.(only took me 30 years, 72 special needs foster kids and my favorite drug babies, adopting my first 12 years ago)!
