My goodness. The prices and quality of Halloween costumes this year were awful, no? My sister-in-law tried finding a monkey costume for her 1 mo old & there was only 2 in NP. One was a terrible burnt orang-ish color and the other was a newborn one that was just a simple bodysuit w/nothing to it. Not to mention the prices! Makes me want to break out my sewing machine & start learning how to make costumes. Better variety @ a lower price!



We got lucky on Kevryck's. When we were in Papillion,Ne end of August Old Navy had the coolest costumes on sale for $10 & $15. We bought him the cutest monkey costume ever! For only $10 we had such a large number of people comment on how it was one of the coolest monkey ones they'd seen around.



Anyone have some cool costumes? Any opinions on the selection here or lack there of?

Wal-Mart does not do a very good job with baby costumes! Last year they had like two in Cohles size so I went to shopko which had a much better selection but they were more expensive. This year I went to goodwill like a month before halloween and found the cutest little scarecrow costume for like five bucks! it was so awesome!
