i have two biological children and he had 6 others beforewe met i have no probelms with the other mom but i do have custody of two of his children that mom died 4 years ago i know i can never take their mom place but sometimes it gets hard especially when tey lash out what should i do

All you can do is stay true to yourself! Enjoy them and love them as much as you can when they let you. Just know you are doing the best you can and try not to let them get to you. They're going to have some really hard times, and I'm sure you understand. I know it doesn't make it easier, but know you can always come here and rant if you need to!!

thanks for the words of encouragment and yes i tried counseling but it didnt last long they didnt want to go back

Keep up the good work! To be honest I didn't truly appreciate all that my mother did for me until I had children of my own...until I experienced it for myself. DONT WORRY all this hard work will pay off. Have you tried counseling? The death of a parent can and often is extremely traumatic. Add on to that hormones and other assorted teenage stuff and its a bound to be a tough road. Keep your head up!
