Can anyone help me try and figure out what to do? My husband's ex took his daughter out of state. Since, she took her out of state he has not been able to have is visitation with her. His papers say that he is suppose to have her every other weekend, but for the past 3 months he has not. I have already contacted our Attorney General and told them about it, but they have not done anything about it. Can I be able to get anyone insist about how he can be able to get his visitaion back?

She would have had to get permission to move her out of state if that is listed in custody/divorce papers. Other than that I think he will have to take her back to court in the new state she lives in and they will probubly make you guys meet half way for exchange.

Shelby is right. You need to read over every part of the papers that were drawn up and research everything you can on the laws and the services you guys can get to assist yall. As far as them never being married that really doesn't matter these days.

I will have to check, I don't know, how Texas is. I will have to look. I'm also in a battle with my ex over my son. They were never married, so I don't know if it applies to them, but it might.

I'm not entirely sure but you need to go to court! Here in Cali if you take a child out of the state without the permission of all legal guardians involved you can be charged with Kidnapping unless it states otherwise in his Divorce Agreement.Research! Research! Research!
