Hi I'm in Sterling. We've been here for about 9 months now, and I have had little to no luck meeting people and making friends! I'm hoping through this group I can meet some other young mom's and maybe get to join a playgroup or something!

I live in Sterling! Welcome!! We are warmer than Chicago but not anything like the Bay area - I hope you enjoy living here as much as I do. Where abouts in Sterling are you? In in Cascades, over by the big Stonehouse.

I can't make it to the first Fairfax gathering because I will be out of town!  I will definitely follow up with everyone though.  It sounds like so much fun!

Have there been any playdates arranged among you ladies in the Sterling area?  Unfortuantely I work full time so my time is limited but I will try my best to make it.

I'm in Hamilton-close to Leesburg/Purcellville-so not far from you.  Just moved here 6 weeks ago from FL (cold weather is killing me).  Not from the Bay Area-but did live in San Jose/San Mateo for 5 years!

I am in west Fairfax near Herndon so not too far from Sterling. I am originally from Ohio but have been living in NoVa for 4 1/2 yrs now. Welcome! Are you a working or SAHM?

Hi and welcome!  I just joined this morning!

We love it here as well (we live in Centreville) and we're originally from the SF Bay Area as well (Antioch).  Moved here 5 years ago.  Enjoying the good school district (we've got special needs children).
