my son can read he is on 2nd grade reading level. we bought hooked on phonic and he has been on it since pre school. and at hid school they do a summer program to help their reading.

my son cant read. and hes gunna be in the 1st grade. i think is it autism in him.

My not-so-little guy is trying to read everything! He will often see a sign while we are driving and tell me what it says. It just amazes me! If he gets a word wrong, it's usually pretty darn close.

My son is in Kindergarten and reading a whole grade level ahead...late first-early second grade level.

My son is reading (age level) pretty well, too. I don't know about everyone else, but at his school they're testing spelling words in Kindergarten and I'm sure that goes a long way, too, not just us reading to him.
