My sone was born 11-24-03. He's not even close to ready for Kindergarten. We tried Head Start, boy was that a disaster. We would get calls because he wouldn't move from the spot we left him. We finally gave up. Hopefully next year he will look forward to it more.

My daughter is going to be so ready for kindergarten. She's learning lots in pre-K. She was born 11/17 and they still tested her abilities to determine placement. There were kids there that looked 2 or 3 years older than her...I thought "okay, she'll be in pre-k, no surprise coming here". We have an older son that was placed in kindergarten (born Oct 12th) and he ended up taking two years of kindergarten. So, like I said...no surprises. :)

Hi :) My daughter was born 11-7-03 and is preschool , missed the kindergarten deadline by two months....

Well...me either...but lets start with...ummm...oh!



Did you start you 5 yr old in kindergarten this year or did they suggest you wait...

I waited but she is in pre-school.
