*sigh* My "baby" started kindergarden last week... I can't believe it!! It just doesn't seem possible. She'll be 6 soon :( Where has the time gone?!?! But on an up note, she loves it! She did tell me "Mom, Kindergarden is LOOOONG"... hahahaha! She was used to the half days of pre-k and now she goes all day...lol! Next year I'll have another in kindergarden... they grow up too fast!!!

yup, mine has started kindergarten and LOVES it.....she's such a learner...but their schedule is nuts....she only goes on tuesdays, fridays & some wednesdays (not even every other) and those days are full days, I feel like she's bouncing around everywhere w/this schedule, especially since she had every day 1/2 days at preschool...anybody else have to deal w/a "dumb" schedule like this?

I hear you. My son starts this coming Monday and he has also experienced two years of 3 hour a day pre-school. I think he will enjoy it though. Ashley, glad to hear it is going well so far. Ilene, I hope your son will enjoy his first day.

Yes they do. My son starts Kindergarten in two weeks. I know he will do great, but he's going from a three hour a day preschool to a full day schedule. We'll see how it goes.
