Christmas budget

Im making the most of my daughter not realizing how much things are,because when she gets older then i will get hit with the big prezzies,and she gets so much from grandparents,aunts,uncles etc she becomes overwhelmed by it all, i get 1 main prezzie are daughter has a stocking (because thats something i always had as a child) and like you she gets a new outfit,but then i call it a day,like you my mother tells me i still buy to much,but i think its just one of those situations were your mother and my mother think they no best,do what ever makes you and your kiddies happy and stuff the rest

at those ages you can honestly buy alot of different things i wouldnt go for anything to expensive always stay cheaper at that age because they break everything or fight over it buy the same things from dollar general or something i have done this for my kids they love the fact they have so many presents to open and when the stuff does break at least its not a waste of money you can find just as fun and good in cheap toys as you can with the expensive ones the only time i do buy expensive is wen its something they have to share and figure it will last a long time but your budget and amount of toys should totaly be up to you and wether they deserve that much you gotta keep the beleif of santa at that age so dnt forget presents from him and make reindeer food thats another family thing to do (its apresent for the reindeer ) to get them into the giving spirit hope this gives some ideas and helps you on your spending a lil

You should aim for what ever you feel is apropriate. When I was younger we had family that went ALL OUT on christmas, tons of presents and stockings etc. We are not doing christmas presents for our family, but still stockings. so in the end you and your mother will probly have different ideas of whats aporopriate, but they are your children and this is your holiday so get them what ever you want! You might even tell them that christmas isnt about the presents and some years there may be more or less than others.
