i have 12 weeks to go in my pregnancy. sex is really uncomfortable the belly always get in the way. any helpful hints would be great.

i had great difficulty too but try lying like spoons, that reaaly helped as i could put a pillow under the side of my tum to keep it in place! also lying on the bed with your feet on the floor and your partner knelt down on the floor, that way your bump stays in one place and he is upright and doesnt have to have contact with your bump! hope thats some help to you both!

But don't induce labor when you still have 12 weeks left please! Wait until your 37th week please! Side lieing works with him behind or like a modified "T" with you being the stick of the "T" or "doggy style" but sometimes it can feel like your belly is hanging too uncomfortably or you on top so you can control position and penetration. At 37 weeks, let the semen sit for an hour on your cervix (lay on a tilt not directly on your back) so the prostilandins can work to shrink the thickness of your cervix. Hope those thoughts help.

on you side its the best for you and baby. and it can help induce labor.
