I agree with karla. Im not sure how old your baby is but defeintly if they are sleeping through the night ( unless its a growing spurt ) they get what they need at their feedings. We give water so that it wont be a temtation to get up for milk lol. Water isn't that great to wake up to lol. But we were mindfull of the signs and would try food if nessecsary.

I think that it is okay cause my daughter is fixin to be 2 and all she wants to do is drink drink drink so at night when it's time for bed all I give her is water!!!!!!!!!!!
