Just an introduction...

Hi, my name is Jackie, I am a stay at home mom of 2 children. My daughter will be 5 later this month and will also be starting school later this month. My son will be 2 in November. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed by the responsibility of looking after them all alone, because my husband works long hours at work, therefore the kids are already in bed when he gets home, so I have done everything for them on my own!!! Sometimes I feel like giving up, but I know I can't for their sake, because they need me!!! I look forward to getting to know other moms that can relate to me.

Hi Jackie. Your oldest propably started sch. by now. How did that go? Also, how's it going with the nearly 2 yr. old now that big sister started sch? Honey, I'm older now, but you remind me of myself as I was raising my two older boys (basically) by myself. If your husband is only contributing to the family financially, it can get very lonely and overwhelming.It's not in you to just give up. You shouldn't underestimate the importance of what you do nor the power to change the situation. Talk with your husband about spending quality time with the family as a unit. Stress the importance of having a daddy who's present! By all means, reach out to other mothers, like you have here. You're a great mom and wife. Take care of yourself, tho. Good luck to you.
