I know it's a little early but, we all know how fast time flies with a little one around! We are doing a police themed party. (daddy is a deputy) Kadens room is ALL police cars. Our baby shower was police themed. He will be a policeman for halloween. So, needless to say his b-day will be the same! We are so excited for his day but, sad in the same way.....Where did the time go?

Jessica you can do lime green and hot pink. Very cute, very girly. Put pink bows on the green frogs! You can do a frog cake easy--green and pink.Stwawberry icecream (pink) Decorations green and pink balloons,streamers,plates,forks,napkins.....You can make a photo slideshow of her first year and put it to her favorite frog song! Play it during the party.

Just a little update.... We are just days away and this will be an amazing day for Kaden. We have put very little money into this. We have however put a lot of thought. You do not have to spend tons of money to have a great party. I hope you all have fun parties and make lots of memories. I'm excited for him!

We are doing a theme with cookie monster, elmo, and big bird. My mom has a cake pan for each of them and we bought a ton of decorations.

Wow. I feel so unprepared now. I have seen this conversation pop up a few times and I am in denial of my baby turning 1. He is 11 months today so it is becoming real. All we have decided to do is my cake plan which includes melting fruit snacks to decorate the top....and going to the zoo, we are in ATL so it should be nice enough. My boy LOVES Blue's Clues but I don't want that theme, so maybe I will do a Noah's Ark or something with zoo animals.

Now we are less than a month away.....Our whole family is so excited for Kadens special day! It has now grown into a bon-fire (providing it cools down in time. we are in Fl. and it's still high 90's) A hay ride and the big kids are having a over night camp out in the yard. Every thing is still Police themed. He is such a good boy and we know he will have a blast!

I'm doing tinkerbell too....her nursery is fairy themed so I'm going along with that. Pink and Green seem to be the colors this year for little girls. I'm getting her the tinkerbell toybox from Toy's R Us for one of her presents. Not sure what else to get yet. Any ideas anyone?

We have been working on Kade Mans party for so long now it seems to have a mind of it's own. We also have two teen boys who I think are more excited then Dad and I. We have always done BIG b-days so this is nothing new for us. We have the space so why not? Kaden is a wild man and he really thinks he is just one of the guys. I'm excited for him. He is going to love HIS day!

My Lilly LOVES Little Einsteins but it is SO hard to find anything to decorate the party with unless I pay a gob in s&h fees by ordering on the Internet. I figured we would just go with primary colors instead of spending a fortune on character plates, cups, napkins, ect. but I want something that lets you know it is Little Einsteins like a hang from the ceiling picture.

i feel you it freaks me out how fast its goin! less than 3 months untill Aliyah is 1 and i have started thinking about her birthday theme... i want to do frogs as her favorite song is "galloomp when the little green frog" (she thinks its fabulous!!!) but am not real sure just yet how to make frogs girly???...

I know how you feel! Ava loves frogs but you really cant find thing in frogs that is cute and girlie. So we decided to do princess and the frog sort of theme. It will be pink and green everywhere!=) We thought of putting little crowns or tiaras on the frogs to make them seem more girly.Hope this helps. If you get any other ideas I would love to hear them!

I'm doing a Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme themed party for my daughter's 1st. I can't believe it. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I've been thinking about her party since the middle of July. I came up with a cute nursery rhyme for her invitations!

Look for garden themed stuff for bridal and baby showers they'll work with the green froggys and add flowers usually in soft pastel colors. it will give it a really soft look. if u can find some bath time frogs (plastic that float) you can tie a pink ribbon on them to make them appear girly and use them for a centerpiece. I thing a frog theme wold be very nice for a girl.

I hit the mother load at our party store....Unfortunately the store is closing due to the economy. We found a police hat and badge for the boy. Tons of decorations and party favors for the kids. Everything was 70% off. SCORE!

I totally know what you mean - where did the last 9ish months go? We are starting to plan Wesley's 1st birthday, and we are boring and are doing Winnie the Pooh. He loves the books, so it just makes sense. I am looking forward to it, but I am definitely not rushing to it!!!

we are doing a tool/construction theme. My husband has every tool known to man i swear, loves them, "tool" was actually his first word. so that being said, my sons room is garage themed with a real toolbox diaper caddy, etc. so for the party we will stick with that theme, i'm going to make a cake that looks like a tool box with plastic toys coming out of it. i'm super excited, but also sad that my baby is growing up WAY too fast.

I'm doing The Cat in The Hat (Thing 1 and Thing 2) for my twin boys. I can't wait! I've already drafted a Cat in the Hat style poem for the invitation. And We're going to order a Cat in the Hat top hat cake for the main cake with a Thing 1 smash cake for Chandler and a Thing 2 smash cake for Tyler.

To Jessica B, you can base your theme to the "Frog Prince" fairy tale. That way your little girl is the Princess and you can throw pink and crowns into everything along with the frogs wearing his prince crown =).
I love all these cute ideas! I can't believe how quickly time has gone by. For my little girl, I was looking at an Abby Caddaby theme (from Sesame Street) ...she loves her. Hubby wants to do it at Chuck E Cheese, but I'm not sure if she'll be ready for that?

I feel the same way! This is my first and at every milestone I am both happy and sad because I know Gavin is getting older! I was thinking of doing The Very Hungry Caterpillar first birthday party, just because it is mulitcolored and the decorations would be easy. And I have an Aunt who does beautiful cakes so I'm trying to think easy and fun. I feel like things have just passed by too quick, but I am excited to celebrate his day.

Hello! I too have actually been thinking of what theme I was going to do! My daughters theme for her room is Ladybugs and so far thats all I have bought! Ladybug everything!!! I am going to look around and see what else I can find to ty and change it up. My husband will be deployong again right around her 1st bday so I want to be well ahead of the game. What day was your son born?? My daughter was born on the 20th. I love that you did a police theme. Ive never heard of that I like being different with decorating. Too many babies have the winnie the pooh, etc. themes. I agree time has gone by so fast. Crazy! Well have a great day!!
