3 month growth spurt and waking all night?

Do growth spurts cause babies to wake more at night. The past few nights, our daughter has woken almost every hour needing to be soothed back to sleep (luckilly she is back out in a few minutes). She is 12 weeks old so I'm thinking now maybe it's the 3 month growth spurt and she's just hungry? She usually goes 5-6 hours so that's why we've been soothing her back to sleep instead of feeding

My daughter is doign the same thing sometimes I feed her but other time I do the same thing by soothing her back to sleep.
