my little man says mama and dada but my hubby was pretty upset mama came first and has lasted where dada is few and far between. Also, he blows kisses. I don't know if that is early for him or if any other parents have noticed it yet in their 7 month olds

My daughter started saying da da da da a couple of months ago, then it was da da, then she moved on to ma ma with no more utterances of da da... lol.. now shes fond of ba ba and up... I swear I heard her say bear the other day, but I dont think shes at the deliberate stage yet :) My sons are older now 7 and 8, I forgot how amazing this first words stage was!!

Same here. Sarah says "da da" all time & I've heard her say "hi". She also says "nana", instead of "mama" right now.

How about speaking sentences?? When my husband gets home from work he is always greeted with a "Hi Daddy!" Yes- DAD-DY, loud and VERY clear... and not rambling- she knows who and what "Daddy" is and only says it when he's around. Our daughter started with Dada at the beginning of 6 months. She says "Hi" and has been doing so for over 3 months. She said "Gee Gee" instead of Doggy about 2 months ago. She also reponds to questions with a "Yeah". I'm still waiting on "mama" to come out of her mouth... but until then "Hi Daddy" is just as exciting- although its not said to me.

My son, who is 8 months today, has been saying dada for a few weeks. Thought it was just babbling at first, but he does it when he sees "dada" now. He makes a mmmmm sound when he notices me leaving a room, but no mama yet:( My daughter was saying hi and yay at this age.

Mine started with mum-mum a few weeks ago, then that disappeared and she now says da-da whenever my husband walks into the room or when she wakes up - it's very cute. She also says hi-da which i think is because i say "hiya baby" whenever i get her up from a nap. And today i swear she said na-na which is nice because her nanna is coming to visit soon for a week and i think she remembers her from the last visit. But i bet she won't say it when nanna is actually here in the house!!!! my husband just melts whenever she says da-da and waves.

She says mama, boob and then babbles randomly. I think it's hilarious...but I'm pretty sure I heard 'bad' when I tried to give her a carrot the other day haha. She is unfortunately already getting a lot of use out of 'no.' Her new word is boo-ball for a blue ball that her daddy gave her. She carries it around like a lovey.
One day my brother visited and she clear as day said his whole name. She hasn't said anyone's name since then. It was weird! I think he surprised it out of her b/c she was napping when he came over and she didn't realize he was in the house when she woke up lol.

Clarissa is saying ma ma, da da, ba ba (bottle) and she says clap which comes out cap but then right after she says it she does it. she learned that one because she has much older sister and brother are in sports so every weekend we hold her hands and tell her clap! It's really cute. It is so cute to hear their little voices, don't you agree ladies :)
