Being in Australia, we re just getting into spring, but we have spent the entire winter sick. My son (10mths now) has been badly sick twice in the winter. he developed bronchiolites and was in hospital for 3 days. They are saying that winter is going to be pretty bad for nthn hemisphere too. Yes, my 10 month old daughter has had sinus infection along with everybody else in the house. It has been miserable! Plus she's teething, so not a great combo!

My son has bronchialitis. They say it's the same as a common cold in an adult. He's had 6 ear infections in one ear and 1 in another. He was 1 month early (Dr induced b/c of my health). I assumed that he is sick a lot because of being early and day care. Everybody brings their sick child in and day care doesn't turn them away, thus getting everyone else sick. It seems he's been on medicine non stop ... breathing treatments, antibiotics, cough medicine, congestion medicine, allergy medicine etc. Went to an ENT b/c of the frequent ear infections and they are putting tubes in his ears next month. I'm grateful that he's such a happy baby, even when he's miserable he tries to stay in good spirits.

Thankfully my son hasn't had so much as a cold over the summer!! Fall and winter worry me though ... it gets pretty cold here!!!

My Addy Jaymes seems to have stayed sick with upper respiratory stuff!! yuck!!! I think it may be allergies, but the docs tell me she may be too young, we have to wait and see. She has already been on antibiotics twice. Just got over a sinus infection. She also keeps a diaper rash. Recently, it has turned into a yeast infection (also, thanks to the antibiotics) so we are also fighting that. She is just so chunky legged!!

hmm..this is a tough one..right my LO was born my 4yr old was diagnosed with RSV well a month later the little sabrina got it, then was diagnosed with trachea malayshia that lasted for 5 months, had a 1month break then at 6 months got salmonella poisoning 7 was in the Hospital for 6 days, had a break then got a cold, got better, got another cold w/ ear infection than landed in the hospital again due to not eating or drinking & dehydration from an unk virus that she had no fever, vomiting or diarrea with, but all bloodwork & test came back normal or negative. I hope this a preview on what our winter will be like either..

My son Ethan has been sick a couple of time just with the flu and colds caught from his older brother when visiting lol, brother's do like to share..... I just started playgroup last week and what do you know Ethan has come down sick again with a cold... I guess the more interaction with other kids the more likely he will get sick. I am still breastfeeding and cook all his meal which give him a healthy and balanced diet all this might help his recovery from sickness but by no means stops him getting sick.

Thankfully with our little guy he has never been sick. We think it has alot to do with the fact that he was exclusively breast fed for 8 months. He is now on table food as well as still nursing. Our oldest was not nursed and he was ALWAYS sick! Good luck to all the mommys with sick ones...this too shall pass.

I think all the weather changes are not helping. We have a cold at the moment but I took her to the Dr. because she was messing with her ears. The last two ear infections were found by accident with no signs. But still nothing, thank goodness! Hope everyones LO get to feeling better!

my daughter has had an ear infection, throat infection, flu and cold in the last 2 months... its not good at all :o( poor bubbas

my son at the moment has croup and there is pretty much nothing that can be done we just have to let it run its course with nothing but pain killers. he is also teething at the moment and i find that when he is teething he gets a cold, a really bad bottom rash and is slightly off his food. but this is the first time he has got croup. (and hopefully the last)

My son had bronchitius and ear infection, he just got done taking the medicine about 2 weeks ago....he is ok now, but i think its going to be a bad winter for us, last winter he had RSV and since then whenever he gets a cold it usually turns into bronchitius, and he has had 8 ear infections already, so hopefully this winter is better than last winter....
